As we age, our bodies stop being able to repair and maintain themselves. In the skin, this can be seen from the surface (fine lines, wrinkles, poor texture) as the internal structure (collagen & elastin) degrades. Microneedling can help stimulate the regenerative process that leads to healing and restoration.
Microneedling
The Rejuvepen Microneedling Skin Rejuvenation or Collagen Induction Therapy is a well-practiced and minimally-invasive way to kick-start your body’s natural healing ability, resulting in healthier, younger-looking skin! This repair process begins almost immediately and results in softened wrinkles or scars and tighter skin.
Microneedling with Exosomes
Exosomes are parts of cells responsible for communicating from cell to cell. Basically, they tell tissue and other cells what to do. For example, if they’re introduced to a wound, they can tell the skin to produce more collagen to speed up cellular turnover to close and repair the injury. Because exosomes are the center of cellular communication, we’ve learned to program them to perform specific actions that produce a client’s ideal results.
Microneedling with exosome therapy is an innovative new treatment that uses the power of your stem cells’ messaging centers—your exosomes—to rejuvenate the skin with a more specific and direct impact on such significant complexion concerns as skin tone and texture irregularities, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, large pores, dullness, and more.
During your treatment, exosomes are extracted and added to a special growth-activating serum, which is then inserted into a special microneedling device that injects it into deeper layers of the skin. As a result, skin looks smoother, healthier, and a lot more radiant.
The process takes the same amount of time as a standard microneedling treatment—about 45 to 60 minutes—and results in smoother, dewy skin that appears healthier and feels firmer.
You may need about three microneedling treatments with exosomes, spaced about 4-8 weeks apart, for best results. There’s no downtime associated with this therapy, although your skin may appear slightly flushed and feel tender for a day or two after your treatment, as with all microneedling sessions.
