Is the HydraFacial Safe?
Yes! The HydraFacial is no pain, all gain. It’s a gentle way to promote healthy skin and is safe for all skin types. Treatments can be customized for various skin conditions.
Pronox™ is a 50/50 mixture of nitrous oxide & oxygen that provides short-term pain, anxiety, and stress relief-without causing patients to “go under.”
Pronox™ is unique in that it is patient-administered. You can treat your pain or anxiety by taking a puff of the mixed gas via a tube attached to a wheeled delivery system.

A few inhalations of Pronox™ will instantly reduce anxiety and relieve pain while only lasting five minutes. This allows you to leave the office feeling normal and ready to take on the rest of your day. This means you can drive yourself to and from the procedure! Additionally, you are in control of how much you take and therefore are able to self-administer the relief as you want.
You may also feel some slight nausea and dizziness and may develop a mild headache. It is advised to eat and drink before taking Pronox™ to reduce these side effects. Luckily all of these are temporary and should only last for five minutes.
