Avah Jacobson

Avah graduated in 2020 with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing, and Bachelors of Health Science, with a minor in liberal arts and psychology. She attended Hastings College where she ran track, and then went on to Creighton’s accelerated nursing program. After graduating in 2020, Avah started working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Grand Island Regional, where she still works part time today. 

Avah found her love for medical aesthetics when her Aunt opened up her own practice in North Dakota. This was before the medical aesthetics field was as prominent as it is today. However, it opened up a whole new world for Avah that she absolutely loved learning about.  Avah loves the challenge of using her critical thinking skills to provide safe and effective treatments to her patients. Her favorite part of working at Essence is helping clients feel confident. Alongside the lip filler, of course. 

In her free time, you’ll catch Avah working out, traveling, or hanging out with family and friends. Being an animal lover, she has two dogs and one cat. She also loves warm weather, healthy living, and learning new things.
